Glitch City, A city that shouldn’t exist. A tax haven where corporations and criminal empires reign supreme. In this place, all human life has been infected with nano machines to keep them in check. Over them stand the White Knights, who ensure that a corrupt government’s laws are obeyed. For many, this can be overwhelming, some devote themselves to their jobs, their families, or studies. Some look for ways to escape this place, and others…just give up.
But for many of them, the answer lies at the bottom of a glass. On a small road, just secons away from the main street, somwhere near the slums, you can find the Hall A of the BTC-certified bar coded VA-11…but that’s a mouthful, so we just call it Valhalla. A small oasis in the middle of the concrete desert. A fountain of spirits waiting for tired souls.
And it’s here where this story unfolds.

What is this?
VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is a booze em’ up about waifus, technology, and post-dystopia life. In this world, corporations reign supreme, all human life is infected with nano machines designed to oppress them, and the terrifying White Knights ensure that everyone obeys the laws.
But, this is not about those people.
You are a bartender at VA-11 HALL-A, affectionately nicknamed “Valhalla”. Although it is just a small bar downtown, it attracts the most fascinating people this side of dystopia. Keep your clients lubricated and you will be made privy to the most interesting stories.
Long story short, this is a light novel where the story will change depending on how drunk you make the client, if you serve the correct drink, and if you pay your bills.
How does this work?
Well, half of the screen would be your client, with the bottom being the text and the options, on the right hand you will have your bartender POWERS! (alcohol) which you’ll need to mix in order to make your drinks.
A customer will ask for a specific drink and you’ll have to mix the ingridients to make it, relax, there is a book with the ingridients needed to make the drink.
But remember, the drink you make can change the story, a customer could be sad and need a drink that cheers them up. As you advance on the game you will get to know this characters, and their tastes.
What to expect?
waifus, rad shibas, and questioning youself. AHA! you didnt expect this funny looking game to be serious yeah? well you are mostly correct. VALL-A HALL-A takes the chance to talk about society, and mainly how humans act. People not accepting themselves, families not approving of them, and people trying to look for thier freedom, or hapiness.
Yes the game talks about some serious stuff, but it’s also funny. from one moment to the other you could be dealing with existentialism and in the other you co-worker could be a Shiba with a Hawaiian t-shirt, or you could be serving alcohol to a brain.

OH GOD THE SOUNDTRACK.
I never get tired of it, apart from the story, the soundtrack is top notch. Is beautiful, energetic, and calm. I don’t have words that can explain how much I enjoy this soundtrack, I strongly recommend it. My favorite song from the whole album was Your Love is a Drug.

This game is a light novel, if you are expecting a action filled with tactics and a lot of efford needed to complete, just play Metal Gear Solid (which there is a reference in this game). The game doesn’t ask for you to stress yourself over it, it’s the opposite, the game wants you to have a good time with it’s story.
If you are looking for a game to kill time with, or with a interesting story. this is the game.
