Beyond: Two Souls is an incredible interactive narrative game! Sure it has some black points, but if you think that the story in a video game is very important, you’ll like this game!

Story
Beyond: Two Souls (BTS) tells the story of Jodie, a girl that has some supernatural powers due to a spirit that she considers as an imaginary friend. She’ll need to cooperate with her imaginary friend to face problems because her life is going to be a little bit complicated…
I cannot tell you much more since the original storytelling is told in a nonchronological way. You can choose, when you start the game, to play it in the remixed version. But I think that the original storytelling is better.

Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty simple, there is a lot of quick time events. Some players aren’t happy about the fact that there is a lot of them. I personally find them okay. There also the gameplay part where you can control the spirit that is very interesting!

The game is divided into chapters, and the choices influence only the chapter you’re in. There is also a lot of choices and that’s great. When you arrive near the end the choices get more important.
When you finish a chapter you have a panel where you can see the percentage of players that make the same choices like you and I really like that panel.

The soundtrack is great, it gives a bit of emotion toward the story
