Ahiru no Sora manga creator Takeshi Hinata posted on Twitter on Saturday that the manga has entered its final arc. Hinata also stated in the post, “this year, aside from the manga, there will also be an anime, and so I have respect and gratitude to all those involved.” Anime studio diomedea had announced in February 2018 that a television anime series was in the works.

Keizou Kusakawa (Fuuka, Aho Girl, KanColle) is credited as chief director, while Shingo Tamaki (Aho Girl) is directing the anime at diomedea. Go Zappa (Beatless, Koihime Musō, Blend S) is in charge of series composition. Yoshino Honda (Fuuka) is designing the characters.
